Glass fiber aerogel blanket is a flexible thermal insulation material composed of silica aerogel and glass fiber blanket through a special process. Aerogel has ultra-high specific surface area (500~1500 m2/g), 90~98% porosity, extremely low dielectric constant (ε=1.008) and thermal conductivity around 0.004~0.025 W/mk, insoluble in water, inorganic fire prevention, non-toxicity, non mutagenic, and non corrosive.

Thermal insulation materials: the unique three-dimensional nano-network pore structure of aerogel effectively limits the propagation of localized thermal excitation, and its thermal conductivity is 2-3 orders of magnitude lower than glassy materials. The insulation effect is 2-5 times of the traditional insulation materials, and the theoretical service life is 20 years according to the Arrhenius experiment. It is the solid material with the lowest thermal conductivity, which is used in the military field such as thermal protection system of hypersonic vehicle, low-temperature storage tank of liquid rocket fuel and thermal insulation system of valves and fittings, noise-reducing and heat-insulating system of ships, heat-insulating system of aircraft engine, portable tent of the army, etc. It is also used in various civil and industry fields for heat insulation, such as glass, walls, layers of rail transportation, clothe, refrigerator, pipeline, high-temperature furnace, and even improvment of solar collector efficiency.
Acoustic insulation material: aerogel has ultra-high porosity, which can effectively absorb and isolate the noise of the external environment, and can be used for sound insulation and noise reduction in TV stations, movie theaters, opera houses, concert halls, conference centers, gymnasiums, sound studios, homes, shopping malls, hotels, karaoke, lounges, restaurants, and other places.
Adsorption material: It can effectively adsorb and purify industrial wastewater and radioactive nuclear waste with complex composition, deep chromaticity and high organic pollutant content, eliminate excessive SO2, CO, NOx, H2S and suspended harmful particles of 20-2000nm in the air.
